GE HealthCare in the Greater Portland, OR region seeks a Field Service Engineer I to perform timely preventive maintenance across multiple modalities. You will learn through experienced engineers, onsite and remotely, while driving customer satisfaction and service excellence.

The role involves travel to hospitals/clinics within the Portland area and a five 8-hour shift schedule. Responsibilities include installing equipment, basic troubleshooting, and collaborating with customers to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent military education; or Internship/Military externship program.
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office suite.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License; willingness to travel up to 10–20% for coverage.

Responsabilités

• Learn to perform on-time preventive maintenance, FMIs and ISIs.
• Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and service repairs on designated equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and teammates to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with scheduling, parts orders, and service records to maintain logs.
