Job summary

GE HealthCare in Indiana is seeking a Field Engineer I to perform on-time Preventive Maintenance across multiple modalities. Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent military education.
• GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program.
• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Learn to complete on-time Preventative Maintenance, FMIs and ISIs.
• Assist more experienced field engineers with equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot and service designated equipment with guidance.
• Communicate with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Engage with commercial counterparts for sales leads and revenue programs.
• Maintain service records, order parts, and manage cycle times.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program

High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment
