Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Engineer I to perform on-time Preventive Maintenance and assist with equipment installation across Indiana and Kentucky. You will work with experienced field engineers, learning troubleshooting and service techniques while focusing on customer satisfaction.

This role requires compliance with health checks and patient data security policies, and may involve after-hours support and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Web applications and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Compliance with GEHC background checks and post-offer drug test.
• Immunizations and other customer access policies may apply during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-time and accurate Preventive Maintenance (PM) and follow FMI/ISI instructions.
• Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot and service designated equipment and communicate with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction and identify value-added services.
• Maintain customer service logs, service records, parts orders and manage cycle times.
