Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment across Anesthesia, Maternal Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology in a hospital setting. Location includes Nashville and relocation options; remote, 1st shift.

Responsibilities include timely maintenance, customer communication, and adherence to policies, with documentation of all work and parts orders. A valid driver’s license and U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, participation in GE Healthcare Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship or Military Extemship; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years servicing electronic equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Background check and compliance with customer access policies including immunizations and additional screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment in a hospital/healthcare system.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication and follow-up to drive satisfaction.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and document all work, including ordering parts.
