Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Engineer to perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on life-saving medical equipment across Anesthesia/Maternal Infant Care/Diagnostic Cardiology within a hospital or healthcare system. Remote role in Nashville, TN, relocation assistance provided, and 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree or military education, or GE internship program OR High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols, to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured, including the ordering of parts.

Education

Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, participant in the formal GE Healthcare Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship or Military Externship program

High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment
