GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 1 to perform on-site corrective and preventive maintenance across Jackson, MS and surrounding areas. You will learn troubleshooting and installation techniques while working with experienced engineers, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

The role requires on-site work at customer locations, occasional home-office, and travel for training.

Competenze

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering or military equivalent.
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office required.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for training.
• Legal work authorization in the United States; employer sponsorship not offered.

Mansioni

• Learn to perform Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Repairs on assigned equipment.
• Assist experienced engineers with equipment installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Engage with commercial colleagues; identify leads and support revenue programs.
• Maintain timely customer service reports, order parts, and manage cycle times.
• Adhere to GEHC Quality Manual and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on competitor information and industry trends.
• Work onsite at customer locations with occasional remote collaboration.

Web applications experience

Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver's license

Willingness to travel

Formazione

Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering

Biomed/FE internship or military equivalent

High School Diploma + 2 years servicing experience
