Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Service Engineer to perform fieldwork at customer sites and resolve server issues. You will join a global service network and contribute to building a world-class field engineering organization.

The role requires strong technical communication, BIOS and driver troubleshooting, and the ability to travel up to 25% for field support. A 2-year background in enterprise server systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in CS/CE/EE.
• Minimum 2 years field support servicing complex X86 systems.
• On-site customer service experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting of BIOS, drivers, and system loads.

Responsibilities

• On-site and remote troubleshooting of Supermicro equipment in enterprise environments.
• Provide 2nd line support to resellers and distributors.
• Travel to customer sites to train and resolve issues (up to 25%).
• Help define service programs with TAM, Service Manager, and Product Manager.
