Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Service Technician to perform fieldwork at customer sites and resolve server system issues. This role supports our global service network and requires strong technical aptitude and interpersonal skills. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Responsibilities include on-site/remote troubleshooting, escalation management, and training new service engineers. Excellent English communication and Linux familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years hands-on server hardware experience (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP).
On-site and remote troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills.
Assist in training and mentoring service engineers.
Fluent in English; ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
Travel up to 25% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve complex server issues at customer sites.
Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence and timely repairs.
Provide second-line support to resellers and distributors.
Coordinate with TAM, Service Manager and Product Manager on service programs.
Generate fault reports and training materials; assist in problem-solving.
Attend on-site visits and remote diagnostics as needed.
