Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Service Engineer to perform fieldwork at customer sites, troubleshoot and repair server systems as part of the Global Service Team.

This full-time role requires extensive travel (75%+), strong hardware diagnostics, and the ability to work with enterprise customers; the ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant field and solid experience with Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE preferred.
• 5+ years servicing complex X86 systems.
• Experience with on-site customer service.
• Hands-on with servers from major vendors (Supermicro/EMC/DELL/HP).
• Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site and remote troubleshooting of Supermicro equipment in enterprise environments.
• Drive customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Manage escalation cases quickly and professionally.
• Provide second-line support to resellers/distributors.
