Job summary

Kentro is seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring across the United States. This onsite Boise, ID role requires diagnosing problems, guiding customers through fixes, and performing routine system administration tasks with logging.

Candidates must meet physical requirements and have 2+ years IT support experience. Expect travel for surge capacity, remote and desk-side support, and a collaborative, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 8 years of additional relevant experience.
• 2+ years of IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration experience.
• Must meet the physical requirements listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment for VA support.
• Deliver remote and desk-side IT support; respond to tickets and perform diagnostics.
• Set up and maintain user accounts; interface with software applications and generate reports.
• Maintain Active Directory and system accounts; support connectivity and client apps.
• Monitor VA ServiceNow tickets and report discrepancies with corrective actions.
• Handle equipment returns, deployments, inventory, and verification.
• Perform debugging protocols and quick corrective actions for issues.
• Travel for surge capacity as needed, with pre-paid travel expenses and per diem per policy.
• Stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varied facility spaces.
