Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems global service team seeks a Field Service Engineer to deliver solutions for electrical power distribution across diverse client sites in the United States. You’ll build a strong technical foundation while supporting customers at every stage of the power system.

The program combines structured training, hands-on field work, and mentorship, preparing you for technical and leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before August 2027.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Minimum of one internship/co‑op experience or 3 months of experience in a technician or maintenance role.
• Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments involving equipment design, testing, or process studies.
• Display proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, and related areas.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work and warranties.
