Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States focused on electrical power distribution. You will contribute to solving power problems for customers, deliver technical solutions, and participate in a comprehensive development program with mentors and hands-on training.

Role offers a structured training curriculum, a company vehicle, and opportunities across multiple service branches. Location will be in major US regions with travel and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August of 2027
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
• Minimum of one internship/co‑op experience or 3 months experience in technician/maintenance role working on machines or equipment
• Willingness to relocate within the United States and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or analysis
• Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, disaster recovery, rotating machinery, and protection & control design
• Generate timely service reports on work, product performance and warranties
