Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a field service professional to ensure products and programs are executed with high quality. Responsibilities include delivering third-level support, assisting with new product installations, and training engineers across the team.

This role requires 4–6 years of field experience, a mechanical/electronics associate degree, and the ability to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally. A 24/7 environment and security clearances may be needed.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of related field service experience.
• Associates degree in Mechanical or Electronics or equivalent.
• Field service experience with printers preferred.
• Advanced computer skills (Networking, multiple OS incl. Windows Server, Linux).
• Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing third-level technical support to field engineers and troubleshoots problems on equipment.
• Provides field support for new product introductions and installations.
• Trains other engineers on tools and procedures to improve performance.
• Audits accounts/equipment, ensures timely completion, and reports status.
• Escalates issues to minimize customer downtime and informs management.
