Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform electrical assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on equipment in customer sites across the U.S. The role includes on-site work, occasional nonstandard hours, and up to regional travel.

During the first 180 days, expect extensive in-person training at our Dallas, TX facility, followed by on-the-job learning with a local mentor and online training to complete onboarding.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and understand AC/DC power systems.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems and power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and support teams to resolve issues.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets; travel as needed for local or countrywide support.
• Work with management to resolve escalated operational issues and participate in ongoing training.
