Job summary
Supermicro is seeking a Service Engineer to join our Global Service Team. You will provide hands-on technical support for enterprise customers, both on-site and remotely, troubleshooting complex server hardware and configurations.
Travel up to 80% is expected, with a focus on fast, professional service and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Service Managers, Product Managers, resellers, and engineers to drive service improvements and document solutions.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience servicing complex x86/server systems and hardware.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and enterprise hardware.
- Experience with Supermicro, Dell, EMC, or similar server platforms.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex server systems both remotely and at customer sites.
- Perform hands-on break/fix, hardware diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and system repairs.
- Lead technical investigations and communicate solutions to customers and internal teams.
