Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Service Engineer for fieldwork at customer sites to resolve and repair server systems.

This full-time role reports to the Global Service Team and requires exceptional technical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills to support a worldwide service network. Responsibilities include on-site and remote troubleshooting, driving customer satisfaction, coordinating with account/product managers, and training new service engineers.

Qualifications

• Solid hardware diagnostics skills and understanding of BIOS/drivers and application loads
• Strong technical communication skills for investigations with multi-discipline engineers
• Ability to lead field investigations and work under TAC Manager direction

Responsibilities

• On-site and remote troubleshooting of Supermicro equipment in enterprise environments
• Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence and timely repairs
• Provide second-line support to resellers/distributors
• Travel to field sites to train and resolve customer issues
• Train new service engineers and participate in cross-functional projects
