Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician for Denver, CO. You will repair, maintain, and install security systems, including access control, video security, intrusion, and intercoms.

The role demands travel to client sites and hands-on technical work with strong customer service skills. The job requires at least two years in commercial security systems and networking, plus the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1 year experience programming access and video systems.
• Possess minimum factory/internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet; IP systems understanding.
• Excellent customer service, strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Responds to all service calls within assigned area within guaranteed response times to restore system functionality.
• Properly installs systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Ensures all tasks comply with policies and procedures.
• Identifies revisions, upgrades, and installs independently.
• Communicates status and progress to Customer Service Representative; updates tickets.
• Accurately accounts for company inventory and resources in possession.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance inspections per policy and procedures.
• Assists with other technical support issues as needed.
• Attends to duties assigned by Regional Manager or executive staff.
