Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems including access control, video security, intrusion, and intercom systems. You will work within your assigned area to respond to service calls and restore full functionality.

The role requires reading blueprints, following installation standards, and communicating progress to customers. Candidates should have 2+ years in commercial security systems and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1 year experience programming access and video systems.
• Factory or internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Smartsheet; IT skills for IP systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within the assigned area and restore systems to full functionality.
• Install systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify revisions, upgrades, and independent installs.
• Update tickets and communicate status to Customer Service.
