Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, scheduled maintenance, and small projects. You will diagnose, repair, and install security systems while producing detailed service reports and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience with access control and security systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Excellent customer service focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine service calls, maintenance, and emergency after-hours service.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts, and install projects as needed.
• Prepare accurate, detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems and support small projects.
• Collaborate with team members to cross-train on servicing customers.
