Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Trades Specialist for its Commercial Construction field sales team as a virtual employee in the assigned territory.

You will drive top-line sales, build key end-user relationships, mentor local teams on end-user development and purchasing processes, and collaborate with Channel Marketing while using Salesforce.com to plan and report.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets by selling DEWALT, PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor the local market team on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and Planning tool; report successes and failures to improve future results.
