Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Boston seeks a Trades Specialist to drive sales of DEWALT and other brands within the commercial construction sector. You will build and maintain key end-user relationships and mentor local teams on end-user development and purchasing processes.

You will partner with Channel Marketing and use Salesforce as a CRM and planning tool, while traveling up to 50% within the territory to meet targets and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field; construction sales experience is a plus.
• 3+ years in Sales or Marketing for construction supplies with proven results.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets through DEWALT, STANLEY and partner brands in Boston territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts.
• Mentor local market team on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Collaborate with Channel Marketing and use Salesforce for CRM and planning.
• Communicate successes and failures to refine processes and future opportunities.
