Job summary

OMG Inc. in Minnesota's FastenMaster division is seeking a Field Sales Representative to drive growth by researching leads, building relationships with contractors, and educating customers on fastener solutions that meet their project needs.

You will maintain and expand existing accounts, enter end-user and prospect data in Salesforce, travel 4–8 nights per month, and report progress to the Regional Manager while ensuring safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years’ sales experience, preferably in construction.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a branded company vehicle.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with quality.
• Professional demeanor with customers and vendors; strong relationship skills.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office; CRM experience a plus.
• Overnight travel 4–8 nights per month; some after-hours and occasional weekend events.
• Positive attitude, ownership, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
• Achieve all targeted KPI Goals and submit monthly progress reports.
• Enter end-user customers and new prospects in Salesforce.
• Maintain communication with the Regional Manager regarding account activities and objectives.
• Keep appropriate inventory levels of products, samples, and literature in the vehicle.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales and Distribution on promotions and product knowledge events.
• Conduct regular job-site visits and maintain follow-up communication.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
