Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas Inc. is seeking a sales-focused professional to sell welding products to business and industrial customers across the assigned territory.

The role involves calling on customers in offices, showrooms, or on their site, demonstrating products, quoting prices, and processing orders. You will travel to customers, coordinate with inside and route sales, enter data into the CRM, develop customer relationships, and support training and inventory tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and Hazardous materials training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to meet customers.
• Demonstrate products, quote prices, and prepare sales contracts.
• Enter new customer data and sales information into the database.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Coordinate customer training and respond to welding-related questions.
