Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and sustain positive relationships with contractors and customers while achieving sales targets. The role focuses on developing short and long-term strategies to grow regional volume and margins.

The position is hybrid, based out of Elgin, IL or Lombard, IL, requiring travel around 50%+. You will act as SME for precast concrete products and collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure outstanding customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 50%+ across the sales region.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings and engineering layouts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.
• Prepare proposals and close business while meeting sales targets.
• Prospect opportunities, bid appropriate projects, and develop sales strategies.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Operations, and Accounting to deliver superior service.
