Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build relationships with contractors and close business across Illinois markets. This hybrid role is based out of Elgin, IL or Lombard, IL and requires travel about 50%+.

You will serve as SME on precast concrete products, deliver quotes, and collaborate with Estimating, Operations, and Transportation to maximize profitability. Competitive base pay and incentives offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel ~50%+ across the sales region.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Have a Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record; monthly auto reimbursement.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen in regard to sales/marketing in civil infrastructure.
• Ability to read civil design drawings and engineering production drawings.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Become the SME on Oldcastle Infrastructure precast products and solutions.
• Deliver top level service and communication with customers and internal teams.
• Prospect opportunities and market products within core markets.
• Identify and bid projects; participate in bid strategy development.
• Utilize Salesforce and Office tools to manage prospects and quotes.
• Meet or exceed sales volumes and profit margin goals.
• Coordinate withEstimating, Project Leads, Operations, Transportation, and Accounting.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to leverage product portfolio.
• Engage in industry associations to build networking and relationships.
