Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and maintain relationships with contractors and customers, delivering proposals and closing business. The role is hybrid and based in IL (Elgin or Lombard), with travel around 50%+ and a base salary of $85,000–$95,000 plus a 25% incentive.

Qualifications

• Travel approximately 50%+ across sales region.
• Proven business acumen in sales/marketing for civil infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings, and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Salesforce knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become Subject Matter Expert on Oldcastle Infrastructure precast concrete products.
• Deliver top-level service and communication with customers.
• Prospect opportunities and companies within core markets.
• Identify and bid projects; participate in bid strategy development.
• Use Salesforce and Microsoft tools to manage prospects and quotes.
