Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and maintain client relationships with contractors and specifiers in the Elgin/Lombard area. Hybrid role based out of Elgin, IL or Lombard, IL, focused on growing region sales and profitability.

The role requires travel (about 50%+), strong product knowledge of precast concrete products, and collaboration with Estimating, Operations, and Project Leads to close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have ability to travel (Approx. 50% +) throughout the sales region.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Become the Subject Matter Expert on Oldcastle Infrastructure precast concrete products.
• Deliver top-level service and clear communication internally and externally.
• Prospect opportunities and market products within core markets.
• Identify and bid projects; participate in bid strategy development.
