Job summary

Richelieu is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our local business in Jackson, MS and North Louisiana. You will manage relations with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers, delivering consultative sales discussions in person and virtually.

The role requires outside sales experience in building materials, self-motivation, strong organization, and proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably outside sales within the building materials or construction industries.
• Passion to provide solutions and drive to achieve sales growth.
• Knowledge or experience in building materials, bathroom/kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
• Highly motivated and able to self-direct and manage time and responsibilities.
• Proficiency with CRM to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in the territory.
• Engage in structured consultative sales discussions, in person and virtually.
• Serve as a business advisor to customers and drive territory growth.
• Regularly travel in the Jackson, MS & North Louisiana region, three to four days per week.
