Job summary

Pye‑Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our customer base across the Portland area. You will sell fire, life safety, and security products by identifying prospects, conducting needs assessments, and presenting tailored solutions to clients.

We value a Bachelor’s degree or extensive related experience, excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting sales targets. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales leads and prospects.
