National Federation of Independent Business is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to drive new membership growth by prospecting and face-to-face sales with small business owners in your local market.

As the field-based role, you will deliver sales presentations, overcome objections, enroll new members, and work within a structured process to achieve sales goals, with high earning potential through a 100% commission plan and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Candidates from sales, fundraising, community outreach, recruiting, education, military leadership, business ownership, and other customer-facing backgrounds are welcome.
• Drive, coachability, resilience, and work ethic are valued over industry-specific experience.
• Successful candidates are self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and engage small business owners in your local area.
• Build quick rapport and establish trust through face-to-face interactions.
• Present NFIB's advocacy mission and membership benefits.
• Identify business needs and recommend solutions.
• Overcome objections and enroll new members.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting, lead generation, and closing activity.
• Represent NFIB as a trusted advocate for small businesses.
