Spectrum is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and expand access to high-speed data and communications services. You will drive growth by meeting with prospective residential customers, analyzing needs, and presenting tailored Spectrum solutions.

The role emphasizes field-based work, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel within the assigned territory. A valid driver’s license and customer-focused mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations.
• Present sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete required sales documentation including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
