Job summary

Charter Communications, operating as Spectrum, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect residents with Spectrum’s high‑speed data and communications solutions.

You will acquire new residential customers, conduct needs analyses, and present tailored proposals while completing all sales paperwork. This field role requires travel in the territory, occasional evenings/weekends, and a reliable vehicle for success.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face sales experience or direct field sales preferred.
• Ability to travel within assigned territories, including in inclement weather.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and software.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals aligned with customer needs.
• Complete required sales documentation, order entry and reporting.
• Attend sales meetings and training; strive to meet monthly targets across services.
