Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through in-person engagement with small business owners across the market. You will work in a hybrid environment, spending ~95% of time in the field, meeting owners and building relationships that convert into memberships.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointments).
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a concise 5-minute sales presentation.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB actions in DC and state capitals.
