National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through in-person, face-to-face engagements with small business owners across the local market. This hunter/closer role is field-heavy, offers paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will champion NFIB's mission in Washington, DC, and state capitals while earning commissions based on performance. Hybrid work environment with field time predominantly in the local market.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial spirit with ownership of a business or territory and accountability for results.
• Relational grit to conduct face-to-face cold calls and build rapport with owners.
• Coach mentality with a fast-learning approach and mastery of a structured sales model.
• Mission-driven mindset focused on growing NFIB through advocacy in DC and state capitals.

Responsabilités

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
