Job summary

Intertek, Lake Forest, CA, is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Electrical team. The role involves direct sales in the assigned territory, frequent client visits, and participation at trade shows to drive revenue.

The position requires 1 year outside sales experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and travel up to 50% of the time. It is an in-office role with a base salary plus monthly incentives.

Qualifications

• 1 year successful Outside Sales experience.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Able to travel at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s ATIC services within assigned vertical, account and territory through client research, prospecting and networking.
• Meet with current and prospective customers face to face via client presentations and trade shows.
• Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing; follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Meet all KPI targets and log activity in to iConnect (CRM).
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts, as required.
