Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sales Representative in Menlo Park, CA to drive direct sales within an assigned territory. The role requires spending substantial time with clients in person, attending trade shows, and meeting quarterly quotas.

The base salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000, with monthly incentives based on sales performance. A comprehensive benefits package is included, with medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year successful outside sales experience.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• In-office position, not remote; able to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s ATIC services within assigned vertical, account and territory through client research, prospecting and networking.
• Meet with current and prospective customers face to face via client presentations and trade shows.
• Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify standards and pricing; follow through on sales transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Meet KPI targets and log activity in CRM (iConnect).
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
