Job summary

Graybar is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our business in a specialized market. You will develop new prospects and maintain contact with existing customers, visiting them on their sites or at other locations.

You will meet or exceed the annual gross margin budget, handle customer issues, manage records, and participate in trade shows and sales meetings. Expect significant travel and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industry-specific experience required; 4+ years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Negotiation skills and ability to learn the business.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in assigned territory.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Maintain customer records and assist in collections.
• Carry out sales programs and propose new items for stock.
• Attend training sessions, trade shows and sales meetings.
