Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow sales with current and new clients across our market. You will identify prospects, follow up on leads, and build long-term relationships through proactive communication and tailored solutions.

The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, presenting products and services, and contributing to marketing strategies. Travel and ongoing account management are typical elements of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products or services.
• Demonstrates product functions and value based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Alerts customers of new products, services, and enhancements of interest.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and relationships.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
