Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell our fire, life safety and security products to current and new clientele. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships to increase sales and may involve identifying prospective customers, following up on leads, and recommending market strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field required.
• At least five years of related experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify product needs and suggests solutions.
• Demonstrates product functions and utility to customers.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Keeps detailed reports of sales activities and transactions.
