Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clients. The role focuses on building relationships, identifying prospective customers, and following up on leads to increase sales.

You’ll present product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain thorough sales records while working in a fast-paced environment that may require travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR at least five years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products/services to meet them.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves issues post-sale.
• Maintains contact with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products and enhancements.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and relationships; provides territory forecasts.
