Job summary

Wesco seeks an Outside Sales Representative to develop new prospects and manage assigned accounts to grow sales and margin. Role emphasizes face-to-face selling, presenting proposals, and coordinating with technical, operations, supply chain, and executives.

The candidate will travel with flexibility, build strong supplier relationships, and deliver product demonstrations while driving revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience required; two years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School diploma required.
• Ability to travel 50%–75% of the time; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and suggest products, services and/or solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
• Executes and expands assigned customer account plan(s) with management.
• Pursues potential customers, including cold calling and referrals.
• Develops and delivers sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.
• Maintain relationship with customers and resolve post-sale issues.
