Job summary

Theisen’s Home Farm Auto is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to drive outside sales, acquire new business, and manage key accounts from our Store Support Center. This full-time role includes travel, some weekends, to shows and events within the territory.

You’ll build relationships, present products, and collaborate with marketing, stores, purchasing and logistics to meet revenue targets. A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of outside sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 3 years outside sales experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 80% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with prospective and current customers to generate new business.
• Drive revenue through outside sales by presenting products and services to customers and aiding them in selecting those best suited for their needs.
• Track and maintain a customer database with up-to-date contact information.
• Research territory/market to identify prospective customers and determine their potential value.
• Develop clear written presentations, proposals, and quotations for customers.
• Promote the brand through community involvement with multiple representations.
• Coordinate sales effort with marketing, stores, purchasing, accounting and logistics.
• Identify advantages and compare products/services by highlighting features, benefits, and pricing.
