ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager to join the Field Sales team. You will build world-class relationships with major home center retailers like The Home Depot and Lowe’s, and drive in-store presence through market assessments and sales plans.

Leadership of Merchandisers and budget management are key components. You will develop recruiting plans, mentor your team, train on product knowledge, and create innovative marketing tools to support Scotts brands across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, or account management.
• Experience using sales forecasting tools.
• Ability to guide and mentor Merchandisers.

Responsibilities

• Utilize strategic selling tactics by analyzing key metrics for home center partners.
• Advise customers through metric updates and business reviews.
• Manage Merchandisers’ work: planning, scheduling, and delegation; provide feedback.
