Job summary

PMI U.S. is seeking an Undergraduate Intern in Field Sales for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in field sales, supporting territory growth and retailer engagement, with exposure to sales leadership and cross-functional teams.

The 10-week internship runs June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027, in a flexible hybrid work model. You will analyze market trends, participate in ride-alongs, and present findings to leaders while building professional skills and a network across PMI U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Interest in sales, consumer products, business development, or commercial strategy.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
