Job summary

National Trench Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow and maintain client relationships, identify new customers, and drive revenue for trench shoring equipment rentals. You will develop a robust sales pipeline, understand client needs, and communicate value effectively across projects.

You will stay informed on market trends, collaborate with branch teams, and use Salesforce to track activities and opportunities. Travel will be required to cover assigned territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in industrial, construction or rental sectors preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and lead generation within construction/excavation markets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify needs.
• Develop knowledge of trench shoring equipment and applications.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue quotas.
• Monitor sales performance and maintain activity records.
• Collaborate with branch teams and support centers to service clients.
• Utilize Salesforce to track interactions, opportunities, and transactions.
• Travel 25–30% to cover territory.
