Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive profitable growth for the Isolation Valves portfolio across assigned accounts. You will blend technical knowledge with a consultative sales approach to understand customer challenges and propose tailored, value-driven valve and actuation solutions.

Travel to customer sites and collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in technical sales or application engineering.
• Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within existing and strategic customer accounts.
• Conduct regular customer/site visits to understand operations, business drivers, technical requirements, and challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and engage technical and commercial decision-makers.
• Identify new business opportunities, including untapped account potential, new solution adoption, and new customer acquisition.
• Provide technical guidance and present value-based valve and actuation solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Support opportunity and project qualification, quotation preparation, commercial negotiations, and order closure.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers, technical specialists, and support teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and CRM records.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Support the achievement of bookings, revenue, product penetration, and customer engagement objectives within the assigned accounts.
