Job summary

NECI, an Emerson Impact Partner, is seeking an Application Engineer to own valve solutions from first conversation to final delivery. This role blends technical problem solving with customer engagement and commercial results, working closely with Account Managers and Order Management to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will contribute to NECI's growth in valve automation across ball, butterfly, and related components, while staying current with product launches and field training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 0–2 years in valves, valve automation, or process control.
• Hands-on familiarity with control, isolation, or safety relief valves.
• Experience in a customer-facing role and solving technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Propose and sell valve solutions by matching customer requirements to config and sizing.
• Grow valve automation business by promoting complete valve solutions.
• Achieve sales goals through launches and uncovering customer needs.
• Provide technical startup, calibration, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Coordinate on-time delivery with suppliers and communicate with customers.
