Job summary

Puffer-Sweiven LP is seeking a Technical Account Specialist - Final Control Valves in Houston, TX. The role focuses on preparing proposals, sizing and selecting valves, and driving quotes to close within Salesforce.

You will support Outside Sales, interact with customers by phone and email, and identify opportunities to expand product supply while ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Prepares proposals or quotes for represented petrochemical, refining, and/or power solutions including valve sizing and selection.
• Assists Outside Sales in achieving the strategic goals of assigned accounts.
• Interacts with customers by phone and email, providing technical, commercial, and sales support.
• Develops customer requirements and identifies opportunities to add value and expand product supply.
• Manages change of customer requirements to quotations and active orders, driving satisfaction.
• Follows up on quotations to achieve high conversion to orders and positive experiences.

• Manages change of customer requirements to quotations and active orders reducing non-conformance and driving customer satisfaction.
• Proactively follows up with customers on quotations achieving a high rate of conversion to orders and ensuring a positive customer experience, managing such activity within Salesforce.
