Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking Direct Sales Payment Consultants to cover the Southwestern United States in a true hunter role within Merchant Payment Services.

You will prospect, build a personal market presence, and win new merchant clients across retail, restaurant, healthcare, and service sectors. Work is home-based with travel; you will develop relationships with business owners, manage a self-sourced pipeline, and collaborate with a bank-backed team to deliver tailored payment solutions and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a true hunter, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities daily.
• Generate your sales pipeline primarily through self-sourced prospecting.
• Spend the majority of time in the field with business owners and decision-makers.
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to acquire new merchant relationships.
• Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline through disciplined prospecting.
• Conduct consultative presentations and price negotiations to close deals.
