U.S. Bank is seeking a Direct Sales Payment Consultant to build a personal book of merchant clients and drive market share across the Southeast.

You will prospect, network, and close new business by selling the full suite of merchant solutions, from payment processing to value-added services, in a true hunter capacity. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
• Ability to travel.
• Three to five years of successful outside sales experience.
• Experience selling merchant services, payment processing, financial services, SaaS, or other consultative B2B solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a true hunter, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities daily.
• Generate the majority of your sales pipeline through self-sourced prospecting.
• Spend the majority of your time in the field meeting with business owners and decision-makers.
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on acquiring new merchant relationships.
• Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities through consistent prospecting.
• Conduct consultative sales presentations, needs assessments, and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, close new business efficiently.
• Achieve or exceed new-business acquisition and revenue goals.
